At Evshón Music, we believe that music education should be as inspiring and unique as the students who pursue it. Founded by Sonya Eve Shalyagina, a renowned pianist who has performed at Carnegie Hall and graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music, Evshón Music was built on a vision: to offer world-class, boutique music instruction tailored for every age and every stage of learning. With over a decade of teaching and performing experience, Sonya brings both artistry and pedagogy to each lesson, creating an environment where students can truly thrive.
Unlike large, impersonal programs, Evshón Music offers private, in-home and remote lessons designed around the lifestyle and goals of each student. From children discovering their first notes to teenagers exploring DJing and music production, to adults reigniting a lifelong passion, our lessons meet students exactly where they are. Every session blends solid technical foundations with creative freedom—ensuring students not only develop strong skills but also find joy and confidence in self-expression.
